Our first live event was \u201cReal Talk\u201d with Rodney Elliott, community engagement specialist for The PATIENTS Program, on Thursday, May 7, at noon. The event highlighted face masks and the importance of wearing them based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Rodney talked about the types of masks people can wear (and should wear) and fielded questions from viewers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>We will continue to go live covering important topics related to COVID-19, with future events including \u201cMs. Bj\u2019s Corner,\u201d featuring our senior engagement specialist Bj Shaneman-Robinson, on <strong>Thursday, May 21, at noon<\/strong>. She will help bust some myths surrounding how research is conducted.
